When you get your first camera, you want to take a picture of everything. Your dog, mom, dad, sisters, brothers and more. You have these images in your head of what you want the photos to look like. Then you go out and try to find the spot to take the photo. Well that's how I feel every time I have a camera in my hand. It doesn't matter if it's a simple camera on an iPod or phone, film, or even the most expensive camera there is. These moments are what I love about photography. Ever since my mom would allow me to use her digital camera, I would go out and find things to photograph. And by doing this, it made the saying that "a picture can say a thousand words" true. An image that would become a memory, that I can put into a scrap book, a way to say something without saying anything, and more. When I got my first camera, a Kodak camera, I was always taking pictures of everything. I never put it down! Now going into 8th grade, I took a intro class into photography, this class made me want to learn more about how professionals take such AMAZING photos. So once I got to high school I took a film/digital class. Learning about how photographers took pictures before the digital camera was interesting, how a film camera works, and how to develop them. This was my favorite part of the class, but digital allowed me to see the photo moments after it was taken and I was able to altar the photo in photoshop to make it look vintage, like it was burned, or exposed to light and more. By using these tools of photography, it showed me that you have to look at the world in a different way to find the pictures that will say a thousand words, become a memory, or show who someone is in just a picture. This is why I love Photography!!! Hope you all love it too!!
